Counselling and psychotherapy offer a confidential place where you can talk to a trained professional about any feelings or situations that may be troubling you. Our job is to help you find new strategies and develop a fresher perspective.
The therapeutic relationship not only serves as a mirror to analyse fears, problems and needs you may experience but also, as a means to explore and discover new ways of being and relating that better fit with your life.
You might discover that the ways of behaving you developed in the past in order to cope with difficult situations are no longer effective. Therapy can provide a safe and confidential environment to explore and understand why you may have developed particular patterns and explore new ways of being with yourself, others and the world.
I work closely with my clients to understand their needs and together decide upon the goals and outcomes of therapy.
