Two types of hypnotherapy

Suggestion therapy (clinical hypnosis)
Suggestion therapy is the type of hypnotherapy that most people are
aware of or have seen on the t.v. This is a combination of visualisation,
positive suggestion and relaxation.
By treating and managing or controlling the symptoms it is wonderfully
beneficial for the more minor problems such as smoking, nail biting,
pre-test nerves, confidence-boosting, or achieving short-term goals.
Children can be helped with suggestion therapy too.
Usually only one or two sessions of this sort of hypnotherapy are
required.
Analytical hypnotherapy (hypnoanalysis)
Less well known, this is a unique type of hypnotherapy. It is one
of the best and most thorough methods for treating emotional, psychological
or anxiety-related problems. It is used to get to the causes of
psychological problems. Briefly, it uses the principle of cause
and effect: every effect (the symptom) must have a cause. Analytical
therapy gets to the very root cause of the problem, helping you
to change your life significantly and in a short space of time.
Why Hypno-analysis?
• It is thorough. Hypno-analysis reveals and thus removes the unconscious
cause, and consequently relieves the symptoms rather than merely
controlling the symptoms by suggestion.
• It is quicker than most other forms of treatment. The use of hypnosis
dramatically speeds up analysis. Using hypnoanalysis, the kind of
results you can expect from the more traditional ‘1000 hour’ analysis
may actually be acheived in 6–12 sessions.
• It is completely natural. Hypnotherapy allows the mind to use
its innate ability to resolve emotional conflict and heal itself.
• It is free from ‘therapist contamination’. Our therapy does not
rely on therapist insight. It allows the client’s own psyche to
gain access to their bottled-up emotions in a very safe, gentle
and completely natural way.
